How do I compare two Christian schools fairly?
Programmes, amounts and rules change. Before acting on anything here, check the current details with the official source named in the answer.
Compare the same things, in the same order, for both schools. If you ask one school about class size and aid and forget to ask the other, you are not comparing schools, you are comparing two different conversations. A fair short list of fields covers faith, academics, practical fit and cost: the school's statement of faith, its accreditation status, the grades it serves, class size, the distance and journey time from home, and the support it can offer your child.
On this site you can put two schools side by side with the compare tool, which lines up the same fields for each school so gaps are easy to spot. Use that view to build a simple table of your own, and add the one figure websites often leave unclear: net cost for your family. That means tuition plus required fees, minus any aid, sibling discount or state programme help you would actually receive, worked out the same way for both schools.
Then visit both, ideally on a normal school day, and ask each school the same tour questions. After the visits, write down what you saw, not just what you were told, while it is still fresh. The fairest decision usually comes from that combination: the same facts on paper, the same questions in person, and an honest note of which school fits your child, not just which one looks stronger in general.
