The difference is the stage of education each one covers. A Christian college is a college or university for study after high school, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees. The name alone does not settle which one an institution is. Some schools for children carry the word college, academy or institute in their name, a leftover of older naming habits, and they are still schools. What settles the question is what is on offer: teaching that ends at grade 12 makes it a school, whatever the name says, and degrees awarded after a high school diploma make it a college.
